DrupalCon Barcelona schedule up

Submitted by Larry on 8 September 2007 - 7:21pm

The schedule for DrupalCon Barcelona has been posted! Not surprisingly both of the sessions I submitted were accepted. If you're coming, stop on by! Now I guess I need to actually put together presentations for them...

Drupal and PHP 5, Wednesday
After all that hard work getting Drupal and the rest of the world to Go PHP 5, what now? chx and I will be talking about what PHP 5 offers, where we want to use it, and where we really should leave well enough alone. Come to this double-feature to help plan Drupal 7's architecture!
The new database system, Friday
It's no secret that I'm trying to modernize Drupal's database layer in Drupal 7, and much of the work has already been done. There's still much to do, however, and there are some design decisions that are still open in my mind. Come see where it's headed and offer your own input as well!

Fortunately it looks like there's only one conflicting presentation that I am really going to miss, Jeff Eaton's FAPI 3 talk. (No offense to the others giving presentations at the same time, of course!)

Let's see: Laptop, check. Power adapters, check. Camera, check. Passport, check. Housing, check. Registered, check. Clothing and toiletries, check.

Someone help me out here; what am I missing? :-)

Yep, the conflict with the FAPI talk is a heartbreak - I guess I'll walk in and out and try to catch the most of both :-)

The FAPI talk is one hour, the PHP 5 talk is 2. I've a feeling there will be some shuffling at the one hour mark as people get sick of hearing my voice. :-)
